Source of Fund

The source of donation of GFDD is contribution of donor, donation from School, College, University Students, Subscriptions and contributions from members of the GFDD. Donation  from domestic or foreign, public or private grants, donations or help,  money,  movable or immovable asset or property, from any person, organization or institution. Donation from various Mission and  Church of the world. Income through use of the proceeds of selling permanent or temporary assets accepted from institution or individual for the organization.


Fund raising strategies: GFDD often start planning to raise funds for it projects and programs and providing support to eligible organization. But funding may not be immediately available for them to grab it. Besides, with so much competition, it is not easy enough to get hold of the desired support from donors all the time. In order to counter such a situation, it is important for GFDD to have a strategy. Its fundraising strategy is always kept on the back burner and the skills to develop it. Here, it is providing a simple and short guide to help organizations to understand and develop proper project and how it can be fittest to  raise funds in a strategic manner. GFDD is fundraising platform that gives social entrepreneurs and nonprofits from anywhere in the world a chance to raise the money they need to improve their communities with the goal to find organizations best positioned to solve problems in their communities and help increase their impact. Once the application gets approved by the team, the applicants become able to Community-based organizations (CBO) or Community organizations (CO) have been an integral part of the development projects and initiatives. They are indeed the ‘face’ of community empowerment, by virtue of the fundamental principles of democratic processes, building on the social capital, and reliance on community participation. Many development project for NGOs are now focusing on donor acquisition strategies, along with resource mobilization and fundraising. Most of the efforts and resources spent for raising resources it have been contributing to the society through receiving Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund and foundation since their inception, like various industrialist group, among many others. This guide offers it to have worked for some organizations and will surely help local organization to maximize funding efforts. Fundraising efforts of organizations gradually go through a process because of improper planning and lack of effective fundraising strategies. No matter how effectual the organization is in implementing field projects, they generally have to struggle when it comes to raising funds. Fundraising forms the most important activity of any NGO.
In this world there are so many disabled people who face different types of extreme problems due to victimizations of human rights violation, lack of social justice and lack of good governance etc. Many of them are deprived of human rights in the family as well as society. Disabled women are mostly vulnerable and they are neglected more than men irrespective of nation, race, and religion, they deprived of their basic rights and they don’t have access to need based health facilities of health support and left out and excluded from decision making, recreation and educational opportunities. Under the circumstances, the situations of person with Disabilities are extremely vulnerable; Persons with disabilities are generally denied access to schooling and other educational opportunities. Due to climate change impact disabled people are affected mostly. Considering the above circumstances GFDD took proper initiatives and developed a strong and innovative organizations and local and national disabled people’s organization and provide them funding support to go through their need based project. GFDD practically communicated and create linkage with a large number of disabled people’s organization, Organization of the Women with Disabilities and disabled children and discussed about their needs. Then GFDD arranged a meeting with the participation of director of the disabled people’s organization and designed new frame work to support them. GFDD is committed to provide them funding support on the  project at the initial stage considering their capacity building through empowerment, advocacy and awareness rising.

The primary working area of GFDD is Asia, Africa and Latin America Continents. But there is a plan to gradually expand GFDD activities in all continent of the world for carrying out different types of charity activities for the development, empowerment and inclusion of disabled, disadvantaged and distressed people of the world

GFDD is a global development charity organization. It’s a non-government, not-for-profit and nonsectarian, non-partisan organization working for social development of disabled, vulnerable and less developed people. It is voluntary international fund raising organization to provide funding support to the disabled people’s organizations. It’s a human-centered international NGO. GFDD could also be labeled as an implementing organization which designs and implements various developmental projects with the financial and technical support of national, international donor agencies, organizations and the government.


GFDD is consisting of mainly with the General council and executive council. A 27 (twenty seven) member of Governing Council meets once in a year and they are responsible to govern the organization. The General members, associated members and life members elected the Governing Council (GC). The Governing Council (GC) is the highest policy making body of the organization. A nine (09) member Executive Council elected by the Governing Council (GC) looks after the total management of the operation and guide the Member Secretary and executive director to run the day-to-day Administration and Management. This Executive Council (EC) should meet once in a month. The Executive Council (EC) also needs to make plan of operation and prepare the Annual Budget accordingly. The Executive Director & Member Secretary looks after the day to day administration, advise and assist the Program Director and sub-ordinate staffs for effective implementation of all program and Project activities.
